Starting a new Association
Criteria for membership
Associations meet each of these criteria for membership in IFPA.
Each member association is recognized as a non-profit organization set forth by the laws regulating nonprofits within its country, state, region, county and/or city.
Documentation of non-profit status is submitted to IFPA
A copy of the bylaws that govern the association is submitted to IFPA in English
The association is recognized as a membership organization within its country
The association is free of commercial merchandizing activities
The association is able to pay the appropriate yearly fee for membership (see the fee schedule)
A representative from the association is able to attend IFPA meetings held every third year
A representative from the association is capable of communicating in English
A representative from the association is able to communicate by FAX and/or e-mail
Representatives from the association are capable of securing conclusive information about psoriasis and Psoriasis Arthritis research conducted within their country and are willing to share the information with other IFPA members
Representatives from the association are willing to share innovative ideas and informational resources with other member associations.
